We want you to be happy with your Merrybead purchase. As our products are DIY craft kits, please read the following information carefully before purchasing.

DIY Craft Kits & Finished Appearance

Our Christmas tree kits are designed to be assembled and crafted by the customer.

The Christmas trees shown in our product images are professionally crafted examples of what can be achieved using the kit. Because the product is handmade by you, the final appearance will depend on how the pieces are assembled, shaped and styled.

Your finished tree may look different from the product images. There is no single required way to assemble and style the tree, and we cannot guarantee that your finished tree will look identical to the examples shown on our website.

A difference in the finished appearance caused by the customer's assembly, shaping or styling of the kit does not mean that the product is faulty or not as described.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, contains a manufacturing fault, is missing essential components, or you have received the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please include your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the issue so that we can assess it and provide an appropriate resolution.

If the product is genuinely faulty or does not meet your legal consumer rights, you will be entitled to the remedies available to you under UK consumer law.

Change of Mind / Online Orders

If you purchase from us online, you may have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without needing to provide a reason, subject to the applicable exceptions and requirements under UK consumer law.

If you exercise your cancellation rights, the goods must be returned within the applicable timeframe.

Please note that you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. Where goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality, we may be entitled to make a deduction from the refund where permitted by law.

Assembled or Crafted Kits

Because our products are DIY craft kits, assembling, shaping or crafting the materials may alter their condition and value.

If you decide to cancel your order after beginning to assemble or substantially craft the kit, please contact us before returning it. Any refund and any applicable deduction will be considered in accordance with your statutory consumer rights and the condition of the returned goods.

Simply being unhappy with the way you personally assembled or crafted the tree does not, by itself, mean that the product is faulty.

How to Request a Return

To request a return or exercise your cancellation rights, please contact us with:

• Your order number
• Your name
• The reason for contacting us, if applicable
• Photographs of the product where there is a fault, damage or missing component

We will provide you with the appropriate return instructions.

Refunds

Where you are entitled to a refund, we will process it in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Your statutory rights are not affected by anything contained in this policy.
